South African player JP Duminy has hailed Jacques Kallis as the best all-rounder in world cricket and said that his teammate will always find a spot in the Proteas team.
According to Sport24, Kallis, 38, was on Thursday recalled to the Proteas squad for the three-match ODI series against Pakistan and India taking place in November and December respectively.
Kallis, a veteran of 321 matches in the 50 overs format, played his last ODI against New Zealand in February 2012, the report said.
However, Duminy feels Kallis will slot in seamlessly with the team despite his long absence in this format, the report added.
He said that the player is the rock on which the Proteas' success is built, adding that he is still the best all-rounder in world cricket.
Kallis replaced Faf du Plessis in the 14-man squad named, according to the report.
