A short track speed skater from Netherlands was reportedly disqualified for making an obscene gesture to show his reaction towards his Russian counterpart's win at the European Championships in Dresden, Germany.
According to News.com.au, skater Sjinkie Knegt made the gesture after his Russian counterpart Viktor An clinched relay glory for his country at the tournament.
The report mentioned that the gesture led to Knegt being disqualified from the tournament.
Both Knegt and An however, will face off again next month at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, the report added.
