SAS hitmen on motorbikes surrounded Princess Diana's crashed car to "finish her off," it has been claimed.
According to author John Morgan, a squad of Special Forces soldiers, disguised as press photographers, were trailing her to make sure that she did not survive.
He believes that they were the first people to reach the crashed car after the accident happened in a Paris road tunnel, the Daily Star reported.
However, Morgan said that the soldiers plan had a major flaw, they rode "heavy duty" bikes rather than the light scooters preferred by the Paris paparazzi at that time.
He said that it's been shown that these motor-cyclists were not from Paris press as the paparazzi were all accounted for and were way behind because they were riding scooters.
