The authorities at Tihar Jail in the national capital on Wednesday set up an e-library for its women inmates to hone their technical skills and provide them with an education.

Inaugurated by Director General (Delhi Prisons) Alok Verma, the facility also aims to help the inmates get used to computer applications and become tech-savvy.

According to reports, the library will be run with the help of former IPS officer Kiran Bedi's NGO 'India Vision' and is supported by security agency GS4.
