Early trends: Celebrations outside Jayalalithaa's residence as AIADMK leads

Hundreds of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) supporters proudly donning party scarves, broke out into celebrations outside Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's Poes Garden residence here today as early trends showed the ruling party in the state leading on 93 seats.

Supporters gathered outside amma's residence soon after the poll charts hinted her come back in the state.

"Madam has initiated various welfare schemes for the people, We are sure that she only will win the elections and will become the Chief Minister of the state, No one can stop her from winning," said a supporter.

"The achievements made by Amma are not trivial. In the whole 234 constituencies amma will rule. There is no doubt in that. She has done a lot for the lower sections of the society, I am confident that amma will return. We are not here to check results," said another supporter.

 

Current trends show AIADMK leading in 93 seats while the DMK-Congress alliance is ahead in 76 seats.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa was leading in R.K. Nagar constituency seat by 1,906 votes.
