The World Health Organization has said that the Ebola death toll has risen to 5,160.
The agency said that although the frequency of new cases does not appear to be increasing in Guinea and Liberia but the count continues to be high in Sierra Leone, reported the BBC.
The deadly virus has infected more than 14,000 people in West Africa.
Reports had earlier suggested that Sierra Leone lacks the resources required to contain the virus. Only 19 of 53 planned treatment centres are operational, while out of the 370 trained burial teams required just 140 have begun work.
