Sunderland defender Emmanuel Eboue has been slapped with a one-year ban by FIFA's disciplinary committee after failing to pay a former agent.
According to the governing body, the 32-year-old Ivorian defender was originally ordered to pay an undisclosed amount to his ex-agent Sebastien Boisseau in July 2013.
Eboue, the former Arsenal defender, was also fined 30,000 Swiss francs a year later for failing to comply with the decision and given four months to settle the debut.
FIFA said that Eboue has been banned from any football-related activity for one year or until he pays the total outstanding amount owed to his former agent, Sport24 reported.
The world body has asked England's Football Association to impose the ban.
