Former NBA star Dennis Rodman has announced that he is writing a book with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

After his second visit to North Korea, the eccentric former Chicago Bulls player hailed Kim, calling him a 'good guy' and a 'good pal', adding that 'this kid (Kim) doesn't want war'.

According to the New York Post, Rodman also expressed his wish to coach the North Korean basketball team for the 2016 Olympics on the 'request' of Kim.

Stating that he and Kim are going to co-author a book, Rodman also said that the book is going to be a bestseller, adding that Kim gave him the right to discuss the ideas for the book with him for one month.

According to Rodman, the book is not a publicity 'gimmick', adding that although he would like to make a 's***load of money' from the book, in reality, the book will make an effort to open the minds of US President Barack Obama and the critics of North Korea and make them see Kim's point of view.
