Ed Sheeran's 'X' named 'number-one selling album' on Apple's 'iTunes Best of 2014' list

Ed Sheeran's 'X' has been named Apple's number-one selling album on its ' iTunes Best of 2014 list.

The American MNC has revealed the biggest apps, music and movies biggest names in music, movies and the most popular apps and books on iTunes for 2014, the Daily Star reported.

Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' was named number one selling song, Sam Smith was named iTunes' Artist of the Year, while Paolo Nutini's 'Caustic Love' was named iTunes' Album of the Year and the iTunes Song of the Year was Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be'.

Sheeran said that he is absolutely buzzing to hear that he has got the best selling album on iTunes this year.

 

While 'Frozen' and 'The Wolf of Wall Street' was named the biggest movies of 2014 and 'Game Of Thrones' was named the biggest TV show.
