The 'Early Man' is coming to the big screen!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate has picked up the US rights to the prehistoric caveman animation film 'Early Man'.
The voice cast of the movie includes Hollywood actors like Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston and Maisie Williams among others.
Oscar-winning director Nick Park's much-awaited return to the big screen will be released by the studio's Summit Entertainment label.
The movie will be released on February 18, 2018 in the US, while it will release a month earlier on January 18 in Europe.
Set at the dawn of time when prehistoric creatures roamed the Earth, 'Early Man' tells the story of a courageous caveman hero and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against mighty enemy Lord Nooth (Hiddleston) and his Bronze Age City to save their home.
"We truly enjoyed collaborating with them on 'Shaun The Sheep Movie', which earned an Oscar nomination for best animated feature, and we look forward to bringing Nick's great new family adventure to our audiences," said Steve Beeks, Lionsgate co-COO and president of the Motion Picture Group.
