Egyptian star slammed for calling sex attack victim 'lucky'

Ghada Abdul Razek, an Egyptian TV star faced criticism after she called a victim of sexual harassment "lucky" to have been visited by the country's new President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

The 49-year-old actress had taken to Instagram after pictures of the Egyptian President with the female who was brutally sexually assaulted by a mob in Cairo's Tahrir Square were released, where she posted one of the photos writing her wish to be harassed, so the President would visit her, News.com.au reported.

According to the reports, the actress's comments created a social media storm, where the star was backlashed, saying that she humiliated all the women.
