Ellen DeGeneres tops most influential gay celeb

Apple CEO, Tim Cook, came second in Out magazine's 2014 Power List

Ellen DeGeneres has topped the Out magazine's 2014 Power List, which is the annual ranking of the most influential LGBT voices in American culture.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook, came in second, followed by Rachel Maddow, while Ellen Page, who came out of the closet in February, secured the 29th position.

Neil Patrick Harris came seventh, followed by Andy Cohen, while Robin Roberts came 10th, Anderson Cooper secured the 14th position and Jane Lynch came 20th on the list.

Other notable gays and lesbians on the list were Ryan Murphy, Suze Orman, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs and RuPaul.
