London's Heathrow airport closed both of its runways on Friday morning after an emergency landing, SkyTV reported, saying all passengers and crew have been safely evacuated.
British Airways flight BA 762, heading for Oslo from Heathrow, was forced to turn back and land in London due to a technical fault at about 9:00 a.m. (GMT 0800), the airline said in a statement.
The Airbus A319 plane, carrying 75 passengers, had landed safely at Heathrow, it said.
London Fire Brigade said they believed fire on the engine had been put out.
The southern runway of the airport has now re-opened, but the northern runway remains closed.
Passengers on resumed flights at Heathrow were told to expect delays of 30-60 minutes.
