When Celine Dion stepped out for her first performance ever since her husband Rene Angelil's demise; she paid him a tearful tribute.
The 47-year-old songstress returned to her Las Vegas residency recently, a month after losing Angelil to cancer at the age of just 73, reports New.com.au.
On stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Dion couldn't hold up her tears as she performed 'With One More Look At You.'
The show began as a montage, where family photos and videos were screened, before Dion shared memories of her husband with the audience.
In her tribute, Dion said, "Through my life, I only had eyes for my husband, who sat out here night after night. People thought that I was looking at him actually, but I didn't need to because every time I closed my eyes I felt Rene on stage with me."
"Rene always surrounded me with the very best people possible. I trusted him so much that I never really had the chance to worry about anything. Now I guess, it is only a natural impulse to constantly question myself 'Would you let the kids play with these toys? Is this song too fast? Is this song too slow? Don't talk too much?'" she continued.
