Michelle Obama was completely welled-up while giving an emotional speech at London's disadvantaged Mulberry School and told the girls that they provided her the inspiration for the 'Let Girls Learn' project.

The US First Lady said that young girls and their passion motivated her to start a project that aims to educate 62 million young women around the world as girls all around the world are so eager for education and are capable of many good things, News.com.au reports.

The 51-year-old wife of US President Barack Obama asked the young girls to carry confidence in them and the things will be sorted.

Michelle also shared that when she was a young girl she used to have high goals, but still there were some people around her, who used to berate her and try her to keep in a little box of constrained expectations just because she was a girl and was black. She added that she didn't stop despite all this.

The US First Lady was in London to announce a nearly 200 million dollars partnership with the UK to improve access to education for girls around the world.
