Shish Ram Ola, who today took over as the Union Minister of Labour and Employment at the Shram Shakti Bhawan here, said his effort would be to impart skill development with avenues of employment and give thrust to tackle the child labour issues.
Speaking on the occasion, Ola said he would soon have a meeting with senior officers in the Ministry of Labour and Employment to chalk out priorities.
Ola is a Lok Sabha member (INC) from Jhunjhnu Constituency of Rajasthan and has already handled this portfolio from May 23, 2004 to November 27, 2004 in the UPA-I tenure.
