Dozens of workers have lodged discrimination complaints at workplace based on weight, tattoos, hair style and even body odour.
Workers alleged that bosses prefer 'beauty over brains' during job interviews, News.com.au reports.
The Victorian Equal Opportunity Commission has revealed that 96 workers, in the past five years, have alleged discrimination on the grounds of being ugly or blonde.
Meanwhile, 107 people have lodged discrimination claims on the grounds of obesity, 10 on being underweight, and 17 on their height.
Body odour was the grounds for two discrimination claims, hairstyles for 38 claims and 22 claims related to tattoos and piercings.
Managers at 'Dress for Success', a charity that supplies low-income women with donated suits and office attire, said that their clients had suffered discrimination based on their clothing.
Meanwhile, the researchers have also found that good-looking men get 81,750 dollars salary, compared to 49,600 dollars for men with below-average looks.
