Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi were spotted promoting their upcoming film 'Ghanchakkar' along with film director Rajkumar Gupta in Gurgaon.

Balan, who was dressed in her character and looked quiet excited, said that she is proud to be a part of the film.

"All I want to say is that I a m really proud to be a part of this film and I feel even after 10, 20 or 30 years this film will be remembered as a path breaking film. As it is one of those rare times when a comic suspense thriller has been made in Indian Cinema," the 35-year-old actress said.

"Even the comedy is very fresh. As Raj always comes up with something new in every film so thanks to him we managed to do something different and I just feel proud to be a part of this film. All I hope now is that you all will love both the film and Neetu," Balan added.

Meanwhile, Hashmi, who plays the character of a lazy 30-year-old, also spoke about the story line.

"My character is a person named Sanju who is 30-35. He is leading a pretty much-retired life at the age of 30 because he is very lazy. And his wife keeps asking him that why don't you do something and why are you always sitting at home? She wants all her luxuries and she is very greedy. So she pushes him to rob a bank and then he robs a bank," Hashmi said.

"So it's about how after robbing the bank with his three friends he forgets where has he kept the money. It's a very funny situation. And in the entire film people will keep thinking that whether he is trying to fool people or he has actually lost his memory. So that's essentially the character," he added.

The film is all set to hit the theaters on 28th June.
