England coach Andy Flower wants his side to thrive on the challenge of playing in a big series and use it against the Aussies when the first Ashes Test gets under way in Trent Bridge on Wednesday.
According to the Mirror, Flower knew that in a battle like the Ashes, emotion could get the better of some players but he wanted them to remain calm and logical, adding that it would make significant difference in the competition.
The coach added that his team had done well in India and had therefore adapted well in various conditions, and four days were enough to prepare for a match on Wednesday.
