The England women's football team made history on Sunday after they reached their first World Cup semi-finals with a 2-1 win over hosts Canada.
'The Three Lionesses' made a blistering start as they netted two goals in three minutes, thanks to Jodie Taylor and Lucy Bronze' strikes, the BBC reported.
Although Christine Sinclair tried to help the hosts claw back into the game by scoring a goal three minutes before the break, England held on throughout the second half to claim a memorable victory.
England will next take on reigning champions Japan in their semi-final clash on Wednesday in Edmonton.
