England's cricketers and team management, which are currently in the West Indies, have decided to pull out all stops to prepare for the forthcoming World T20 Championship in Bangladesh, and to prevent their batsmen from facing a meltdown against spin.

Having capitulated to the Windies spinners in the first international Twenty20 encounter in Kingston, Jamaica, the ECB has requisitioned the services of team psychologist Mark Bawden to help the players get their minds right.

One-day batting coach Graham Thorpe was quoted by The Mirror, as saying that the players remain upbeat and positive despite the difficulties they have been facing. He said the players a re determined to keep on attacking all the way to the World T20 in Bangladesh.

Thorpe said the batters would have to be bold enough to hit boundaries and to be able to manoeuvre the ball around against quality spinners.

He maintained that the current squad would leave many in Bangladesh surprised.
