England pacer Mark Wood has been included in the 15-man ODI squad for the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy to be held from June 2.
The 27-year-old, who has returned to action this season following a six-month injury lay-off, has also been named in the national squad for the three-match series against South Africa and the two ODIs against Ireland early next month.
Although injury problems have restricted Wood to a modest 11 one-day caps since making his debut in 2015, his pace and hostility mark him out as a compelling choice, ESPNcricinfo reported.
Meanwhile, fast bowler Steven Finn has been left out of the England squad for the Champions Trophy, with left-armer Nottinghamshire's Jake Ball being preferred
Finn, however, has been named in the 14-man ODI squad for the two matches against Ireland as is Ben Duckett, who made his debut against Bangladesh last year.
While Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler are unavailable for those games because they are playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy and Sam Billings will return from India for the matches.
