England WAGs set for Miami with partners ahead of World Cup

The manager of the English national team, Roy Hodgson, has said that he has allowed his team to bring their partners to Miami before they head to Brazil for the World Cup.

However, Hodgson would be keen to avoid the Biscayne Bay area in order to avoid past escapades as the so-called 'WAGs' dominated the headlines with their glammed-up trips and high-jinx in the German town of Baden Baden during the 2006 World Cup, the report added.

According to Stuff.co.nz, the WAGs would be allowed to accompany the England team at their pre-World Cup base at the Mandarin Oriental in Miami this June as they maintained a graceful, low-key presence at the 2012 European Championship.

Hodgson meanwhile has left the choice with his players to decide whether the WAGs could follow them to the World Cup as it would be a major security issue following the anti-government protests springing up in parts of Brazil which were initiated during the Confederations Cup last year, the report added.
