Everton FC cruised into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a three-one win over Swansea FC on Sunday.
Everton had Scotland forward Steven Naismith to thank for firing his side into the next round after a crunching tackle from Jordi Amat left him concussed, reports the Daily Star.
Everton were in a sticky situation against under-strength Swansea, when super-sub Naismith came off the bench to inject some life into what was till then a timid tie.
Naismith fired a goal after just four minutes on the pitch, and then, won the penalty that killed any hopes of a Swansea comeback to seal a trip to meet Arsenal in the quarter-finals.
