On completion of a month of the BJP-led NDA Government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his blog on Thursday said that every decision that the government has taken so far has been solely guided by national interest.
"Every decision we took has been guided solely by national interest. My confidence and determination has increased tremendously and I credit a substantial part of this to the collective experience and wisdom of my ministerial colleagues," said Modi.
"Every new government has something that media likes to call honeymoon period. Previous governments had luxury of extending this upto 100 days and beyond. Not unexpectedly, I don't have any such luxury. Forget 100 days; the series of allegations began in less than a hundred hours," he said.
"But when one is working with the sole aim of serving the nation determinately, these things do not matter. I salute people of India for their strong support and good wishes as we complete a month in office. I assure that we are committed to taking India to greater heights in years to come," he added.
He called June 26 as another landmark day as it was the day when Emergency started.

Today is also a day to reaffirm our pledge to safeguard these values, and create strong institutions through good governance so that we never ever see those dark days again," he added.
