Former Cuban President Fidel Castro has in an open letter to the United States said that Washington owes Cuba millions of dollars.
According to the BBC, Castro made no mention of the historic reopening of the United States Embassy in Cuba.
The letter was published to mark Castro's 89th birthday.
Castro said that due to the trade embargo the U.S. imposed on the Communist-run island in 1960, the former owed Cuba money.
