Despite being targeted by Kevin Pietersen in his controversial autobiography, former England Cricket managing director Hugh Morris has expressed that he didn't relish at the misery of the sacked batsman.
Pietersen vented his frustration at Morris for losing the England captaincy in January 2009 as he described the latter as 'one weak prick' in his book published last year.
Pietersen has been out of the national squad since his central contract was cancelled 13 months ago by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) following the team's Ashes washout by Australia.
Morris said that the out-of-favour batsman has had a very successful England career and scored more runs than any player who has played international cricket for the country.
At the helm of Morris, England won three Ashes series and a World Twenty20 title before stepping down from his post in 2013.
Morris insisted that Pietersen would always be a talking point, and conceded that what happened after his resignation gave him no pleasure at all, the Independent reported.
Pietersen made a promising start in his bid to make an international comeback as he smashed 170 for Surrey against Oxford MCCU last week.
