Former England captain Bob Willis has claimed that South African skipper AB de Villiers' blistering 31-ball ton has made him reassess and he believes that the extraordinary batsman is better than Sir Donald Bradman.
De Villiers posted a record-breaking ODI century against West Indies in Johannesburg on Sunday to help South Africa to a 148-run win.
Willis claimed that he has been saying for the last 30 years that Sir Vivian Richards has to be the best batsman of all time, even better than Sir Don Bradman in his book, but added that he is going to have to reassess because De Villiers is something extraordinary, News.com.au reported.
Willis claims that De Villiers' improvisation, strength, intelligence, knowing exactly where every fielder was and where the gaps were, was unbelievable.
De Villiers is currently the only player in history with more than 150 innings to average over 50 in test and ODI cricket, the report added.
