Colombian adult film company Santa Latina has posted an open letter to former Newcastle United striker Faustino Asprilla offering him a role in one of their forthcoming movies.
According to Metro.co.uk, the Colombian, nicknamed 'Tino', was a big hit with Magpies fans when he moved to St James' from Parma in 1996 and is well known in his home country for his wild lifestyle.
The letter addresses the former player and says that for years, the company has followed his successful career, which has made him an invaluable national icon in Colombia, adding that it is convinced that the lifestyle he leads and the media controversy it causes is vital, daring them to make the following proposal.
It said that since Santa Latina is an adult entertainment site, it was offering him 7000 pounds for a week as a porn actor.
The letter further said that it was a unique offering, which awaits the former striker's prompt response, adding that the company is convinced that with a little training, Asprilla could exploit another talent that all of Colombia knew he had.
