Pakistan's former chief of army staff and now head of the Saudi-led Islamic Military Alliance to Fight Terrorism (IMAFT), General (Retired) Raheel Sharif has arrived in Lahore with a Saudi Arabian delegation.
According to media reports, General (Retired) Sharif left for his residence from Lahore's Allama Iqbal Airport, while the Saudi delegation moved to a local hotel.
General (Retired) Sharif assumed command of the 41-nation IMAFT in April after receiving clearance from the Pakistan Government and the General Headquarters, Rawalpindi.
Details of his programme/agenda in Lahore have not been revealed, the Dawn reports.
