Former South African off-spinner Johan Botha, who is now playing for Australian domestic side South Australia, has reportedly been notified by Cricket Australia (CA) again for a doubtful bowling action.

Botha was earlier suspended for an illegal action between February and November 2006.

According to Sport24, CA stated that Botha would undergo biomechanical analysis of his action as under the board's Doubtful Bowling Action Procedure, a bowler must undergo testing after a single mention for a suspected illegal bowling action in an interstate season.

The report mentioned that CA's policy requires cited bowlers to undergo testing within 14 days of being notified.

However, the report also said that Botha could still play on throughout this period and can only be suspended from bowling if the official report, following the bowling action analysis, proves that he has an illegal action.
