Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev has warned that the world is on the verge of a new cold war and said that trust should be restored with Russia through dialogue.
Gorbachev, while speaking at an event on Sunday to mark the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, said that the West had "succumbed to triumphalism".
Gorbachev also expressed concern about Middle Eastern and European conflicts, reported the BBC.
There are increased tensions between the West and Russia over Ukraine crisis.
