Barcelona ace Cesc Fabregas has slammed Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, telling him to 'shut up'.

Mourinho's claim that the current Barcelona team is the 'worst in years' caused outrage from the team members earlier this week. But Barcelona outperforming Manchester City with a convincing 2-0 victory let them have the last laugh.

The Spanish giants' midfielder Fabergas has hit back at Mourinho in their war of wards and told the Portuguese to keep his opinions to himself.

Fabergas also said that they should not play football if they pay heed to Mourinho's words.

Barcelona is now leading in La Liga and having reached the Spanish Cup final speaks for their performance. They are now set to book a place in the Champions League last eight.

Fabergas added that they controlled the game very well and did not let Chelsea have the ball, giving them no opportunity to create a chance.
