Facebook has come up with yet another surprise for its users- a new feature that allows them to show their love and gratitude to family and friends by sharing video cards.
According to News.com.au, the feature, called Say Thanks, will allow users to share sophisticated video cards with mates that feature some of their most memorable moments.
Users have the option of four video templates that can be flooded with photos and posts to create a personalised video within seconds.
The templates are tailored to different types of relationships: friends, old friends, family and "it's complicated," the report said.
Facebook design manager Cameron Ewing said that saying thanks was a universal sentiment, but people rarely have the opportunity, the time or the wherewithal to express it.
He added that the social network company wanted to make it an easy, fun and engaging thing to do.
