Facebook today announced the international roll out of its video destination for episodic content 'Facebook Watch'. The service was first launched in the US a year ago.

Commenting on the same, the company said in a statement that with this global launch of 'Facebook watch', they are supporting publishers and creators worldwide to make money from their videos on Facebook and at the same time better understand how their content is performing.

According to a report by Variety, the company also claimed that post the launch of 'Watch' in the U.S., Facebook has made watching videos, which have been liked and shared by friends, and creating shows with audience participation much easier.

Earlier this year, Facebook had announced that it would launch a series of new shows to boast interactive features including polls and quizzes in order to foster a sense of communication between creators and consumers.

This global launch of 'Watch' would create fresh opportunities for various content creators, supporting content in English as well as various other languages.

What is the eligibility criteria, you ask? According to the company, those creating three-minute videos, having 10,000 followers and generating 30,000 one-minute views within a two-month period qualify to be a part.

The service will be launched in UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand and another 21 countries including France, Germany, Spain and across Latin America and Asia on September 21.
