Amid the ongoing row over his alleged fake degree, Delhi Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar on Thursday said he will tender his resignation if asked to do so by party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
"If my leader asks me to resign, I will give my life, let alone the resignation. Those who are trying to scheme, will continue to do so," said Tomar.
"Nobody has any problem in my party. My party and my leader knows that I'm alright," he added.
Tomar also hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying it had used its full force for the past one year for fabrication and tampering of records.
"BJP has used its full force for past one year for fabrication, tampering of records, matter is sub-judice now," said Tomar.
Opposition parties have been demanding Tomar's removal from the Delhi Cabinet after a controversy erupted about his alleged fake law degree.
The Tilak Manjhi Bhagalpur University in Bihar had earlier told the Delhi High Court that Tomar's provisional law certificate was fabricated.
