Colombian striker Radamel Falcao has reportedly dropped a hint that he wants to stay put at Manchester United, as he continues his season-long loan stay at Old Trafford from Monaco.
United has the option to sign the Colombian on a permanent deal in June for 40 million pounds and wages of 2,40,000 pounds-a-week, after his loan contract cost Louis van Gaal's side 6 million pounds.
Falcao is on trial between now and the end of the season but has struggled to make an impact, scoring just three goals in 13 appearances after suffering problems with his form and fitness, the Daily Star reported.
United know Falcao would cost them around 80 million pounds in total if he joins them on a long-term deal, and he would have no sell-on value at the end of such a contract at Old Trafford.
However, Falcao has insisted that he is happy in Manchester and not looking to go back to France after labelling the Premier League the best one he's ever played in.
The striker said that he is good, his family is comfortable, and they are enjoying life in Manchester and here at the club. He added that the people have been great with him, with his family.
Falcao claimed that right from the start his colleagues welcomed him, adding that they supported him and helped him with whatever he needed. He insisted that they are a really humble group of players, really decent and he was taken aback by how kind they've been.
Falcao said that it's more attractive than the French league, as defenders there are stronger and more aggressive, adding that it's intense and overall just more physical.
