A die-hard fan of Bollywood actress, Madhuri Dixit celebrated her 46th birthday with fervour in Ranchi on Wednesday.
Pappu Sardar, the owner of a food stall in Ranchi, organised a lavish party at midnight, which began with a prayer session and ended with dance and jubilation on the streets.
Having setup a make-shift tent, Sardar had displayed several photographs of Dixit and prayed for her success, before cutting a cake on her behalf.
"It is now 18 years since I have been celebrating Madhuri Dixit's birthday and the only reason for that is the love I have for my sister. We celebrate her birthday with immense joy. I would also make sure that I continue to celebrate her birthday in a grand manner in the coming years," said Sardar.
Madhuri Dixit is widely regarded as one of the best actresses in the Hindi film industry. Having made her acting debut in 1984, Dixit was a rage in the 90's giving one superhit after another.
Some of her mega blockbusters include, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Dil Toh Pagal Hai and Devdas.
