Manchester United legends Gary Neville has defended his and Ryan Giggs' dream 'Hotel Football', which is being built next to Old Trafford and would be home to the Old Trafford Supporters Club, after fans claimed that it was overpriced.
Neville and Giggs' Hotel Football is being built next to Old Trafford and includes a rooftop five-a-side pitch and would also be home to the Old Trafford Supporters Club.
However, some would-be guests have taken to Twitter to express their shock over the high pricing, after hearing that rooms would cost 270 pounds, the Daily Express reported.
A user expressed his shock over the prices at Neville's hotel, tweeting that they are embarrassing, and questioned how one could charge 270 pounds for one night's stay. He added that football is for the rich it seems.
Another fumed that prices for that new football hotel are a bit steep Neville, adding that he thought the hotel was for football fans.

However, the former United star, said that the beer was good value, and the same price as pubs nearby. And addressing the rumours that a pint would cost nearly a fiver, he said that they are looking at London prices, adding that pint 3.50 pounds like Trafford Arms and others.
Neville also invited fans, who ridiculed the sky-high overnight stay prices, to test out the venue at its launch next month.
The hotel, which has 133 rooms over 10 storey and would be able to host 1,500 fans on match days, was originally due to be open in November but the opening has been pushed back until March, the report added.
