Farrah Fawcett's former boyfriend Greg Lott has said that the couple rekindled their relationship in 1998 and remained together for 11 years until she died from cancer in 2009 at the age of 62.
Lott, 67, a former football star, first dated Fawcett when they were students at the University of Texas.
While Fawcett was linked romantically in that time period with actor Ryan O'Neal and was seen in public with him, Lott said that he her true love.
Lott told ABC News that Fawcett and he reunited in a relationship, a loving, consensual one-on-one relationship. No other boyfriends and no other girlfriends.
Lott, who is now a car dealer in Lubbock, Texas, also alleged that O'Neal stopped him from seeing Fawcett in her last days, the Mirror reported.
Lott's revelations have come to light in a court battle that O'Neal is waging with the University of Texas over one of two Warhol paintings of Fawcett.
