FC Goa eased past Chennayin FC 2-0 in their Indian Super League (ISL) clash here at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Thursday, thereby making it to the top of the standings.
After the goalless first half, midfielder Leo Moura thumped the spot-kick in the 62nd minute before Jonathan Lucca doubled the lead by scoring his penalty in the 76th minute of the game.
With the defeat, Chennayin are now at the sixth spot, with three wins from the eight games which they have played.
The next match will be played between Delhi Dynamos and Mumbai City tomorrow.
