Exuding confidence that the Federal Front is gaining strength with each passing day, Trinamool Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP, K D Singh, on Saturday said that the front propped by TMC supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will emerge victorious at the coming general elections.

"The contours of the Federal Front is slowly taking its shape, and hence leaders like Jayalalithaa are flocking towards the popular Federal Front and the left backed Third Front will face more desertion as the time goes by as it is a tired front as rightly said by our leader." Singh said.

The TMC MP also sounded hopeful for regional parties he said, "If indeed Federal Front comes to power at the Centre this will definitely give a much needed boost for the regional parties a say which they don't have currently."

Lauding TMC chief Singh showered lavish praise on his leader.

"She (Mamata) is someone who only works for the welfare of her countrymen, and she never thinks of position, hence, she has endorsed Jayalalithaa. Infact, she is not aversed over endorsing leaders like Nitish Kumar who hold secular beliefs, and have a strong anti-Congress and anti-BJP ideology." Singh added.
