Third-seed Roger Federer displayed an imperious form as he brushed aside Swiss opponent Stan Wawrinka in straight sets to sail into the finals of Barclay's ATP World Tour Finals.

The 17-time Grand Slam champion outmuscled Wawrinka 7-5, 6-3 in the semifinal contest that lasted for one hour and ten minutes.

With the win, the Swiss maestro has set up a final clash with world number one Novak Djokovic, who also made it to the summit showdown by defeating fifth-seed Rafael Nadal in straight sets.

Earlier, Federer, who has recently been awarded with the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award, had also brought Djokovic's 23-match winning streak to an end by defeating him in the round-robin clash of the tournament.
