Feeling like a struggler again: Anushka Sharma on completing 9 years in showbiz

New Delhi [India], Mar. 22 (ANI): Known for her power- packed performances in movies such as 'Sultan', 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan,' actress Anushka Sharma will be completing nine years in the Hindi film industry, this December.

The 28-year-old actor, who has started a new journey as producer, feels like a struggler again.

"This December, I will complete 9 years in film industry, I am shocked myself. I don't feel like it's been that long maybe that's because earlier I was a new actor today I am a new producer so I am feeling like a struggler again, so it's nice to be in the process of struggle. It keeps u grounded and does not let you fly," Anushka told ANI, during an exclusive interaction.

 

On this note, the actress's production house Clean Slate Films is all set to hit the screens with their second venture 'Phillauri,' this weekend, after their debut film 'NH10' in 2015.

The 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' actress and Diljit Dosanjh were recently spotted in the national capital, promoting 'Phillauri'. When Diljit was quizzed about his journey in Hindi film industry, he said, "My Bollywood journey from 'Udta Punjab' to 'Phillauri' has been amazing. It all happened I did not plan anything neither I have any manger who is appointing me so whatever work I am getting its coming on its own."

For the unversed, Anushka made her Bollywood debut opposite King Khan in the 2008 blockbuster 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi,' while the 'Proper Patola' hit-maker stormed into Bollywood with 2016's one of the most critically acclaimed film 'Udta Punjab'.

Anshai Lal's directorial debut 'Phillauri,' which also has 'Life of Pi' fame Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada in it, will be releasing on March 24.
