Spain's Feliciano Lopez has won Corona's 'The Longest Serve' competition at the Valencia Open 500 for the third year in a row after he hit the ball to a distance of 78m to beat John Isner, Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan.

According to ATPWorldTour.com, Isner and Bob Bryan also broke the previous record of 70m, set by Lopez in 2011, as they hit 74m serves.

Lopez donated the cheque of 2000 euros to the Fundacion Clinica Menorca and said that it was very good and very competitive.

He added that this was the best and toughest of all years as the competition was really intense, especially with John who was probably the best server on tour.

Lopez and Isner made their partnership debut later in the day, teaming up for a 6-3, 6-7(7), 10-7 win over Philipp Kohlschreiber and Florian Mayer in the first round, the report said.
