Williams driver Felipe Massa has reportedly slammed Force India's Sergio Perez for his part in crash involving the pair at Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix.
Perez has reportedly been given a five-place grid penalty for the Austrian Grand Prix on 22 June for the accident that led to both drivers being taken to the hospital.
According to the BBC, Massa said that the incident was dangerous and they could have had a very serious accident, so for him the penalty is not enough.
However, Perez has denied any wrongdoings in the incident and said that he cannot understand Massa's maneuver, adding that he was following the same line as in previous laps and just got hit from behind.
The Mexican added that he watched several replays of the incident and cannot help but notice how Massa turned right just before he hit him.
Perez, who was punished for deviating from his line when braking on the final lap, said that he can only think that Massa must have changed his mind and wanted to rejoin the racing line, adding that his misjudgment cost them a big amount of points.
