Fellaini promises Man U he will be worth his 27.5-mln-pound transfer fee

New Manchester United player Marouane Fellaini has promised the club that he will try and give his best to help the Old Trafford team win trophies.

According to the Mirror, Fellaini has vowed to prove himself worthy of his 27.5 million pound fee following his move to Manchester United.

The player said that he had worked with the manager for years and was looking forward to working under his shadow again.

Fellaini, 25, became the first signing of new United boss David Moyes, who managed him at Everton, and expressed that he was relishing the chance to be reunited with his former manager, the report said.

 

United manager Moyes said Fellaini was a player he was desperate to land and claimed his addition was a major coup, hailing him as one of the Premier League's best midfielders, the report added.

The manager said that he was delighted that the player had decided to join Manchester United and he was a player with great ability and strength, who could make a real difference to the squad.
