A British TV presenter has become the first two-time champion of the European Poker Tour and won a whopping 400,000 pounds as she fought her way up the rankings from eighth place during the closing stages of the tournament in Italy.
Victoria Coren Mitchell, who is married to British comedian/actor David Mitchell, hosts a BBC quiz show and became the first woman to win the event when it came to London in 2006.
According to Metro.co.uk, the 41-year-old journalist beat American Jordan Westmorland and Italian Giacomo Fundaro on her way to the title and the 400,000-pound prize.
Mitchell, who is an Oxford graduate, tweeted her thanks to the Twitter users who supported her, the report added.
