To applaud the achievements of women from different fields, Femina gave away awards at the Femina Powerlist North 2015 Awards function in the national capital last evening.
While receiving her award, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra said getting an award from Femina is a huge thing and it means a lot to her.
The 'Hasee Toh Phasee' actress further said she always felt proud of the fact that she was a north Indian and had grown up in small town like Ambala. She said she always wanted to inspire people.
Tanya Chaitanya, Editor-in-chief of Femina, told ANI that the motive behind hosting the award show was to applaud the achievers from North India and to create feminist power.
Others receiving the award included leading style icon and fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi, Sheroes mentor Sairee Chahal, TSG International Marketing founder and CEO Charu Sachdev and fashion designers Gauri and Nainika. (ANI)
