Rio Ferdinand has said that his former club Manchester United have changed tremendously since he left Old Trafford, insisting that everything has changed except the groundsman and the chef.

The 36-year-old, who is worried about the club ability to attract English players, said that he and his fellow player Nemanja Vidic felt that there had been an unreal change in terms of the personnel and the transfer policy, Sport24 reported.

Ferdinand also ruled out the chances of United winning this year's Premier League title, adding that one cannot expect to see free-flowing, attacking, gung-ho football during their match.

Ferdinand spent 12 years at United before leaving in 2014. In his presence, United won six Premier League titles, three League Cups and the 2008 Champions League.

United, which claimed a 3-1 win over Liverpool on Saturday, will now lock horns with Southampton on September 20.
